The best news is no more periods! Please watch as it is now easier to gain weight. You may also have the symptoms of menopause: night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, headaches, etc...especially if you are not on hormone replacement therapy (and your ovaries were also removed).

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I had a hysterectomy about 9 years ago.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and i can tell you that you will now experience the systems of the menopause. As you have no ovaries, your hormone levels will drop. You may experience mood swings, hot flushes, night sweats, headaches. If your Dr has put you on the HRT this will help but I had a lot of problems on this so i now take a natural hormone-BLACK COHOSH and it has helped a lot and there is no side effects. If you need any more help e mail me, leave your full e mail address

Isn't that a question you should have asked YOUR DOCTOR?!?
