All right so there is this boy who I met over the summer at a study abroad program thing. He lives in NY and during the program he was doing the cute oh I really like you things... I sorta turned him down... yeah I suck, but like after the trip he still talked to me on AIM and was like oh you are the prettiest girl on the East Coast and things like this, but now he sorta just ignores me. It is a task to get him to meet me for just lunch. I am going out of my way to get this friendship to work, but it seems he has forgotten. I am going to lunch with him on next friday and I was wondering... should I just wear something short and to the point so that he remembers or what???

They love playing hard. If this was your idea of a courtship, I think you have flunked real bad!!
Anyways, coming to your Q, I think you should just begin to take things slow.
If you played hard then, he would have definately felt rejected, but he would also have thought that he is been cheesy and made him realise all the lame one liners that he was using.
In fact those things that he said, may have made him so embarrased and that could explain why he broke all contact so soon.
If you guys are talking again, I think thats a good sign in itself. Take it one day at a time. Never rush and dont go about wearing short clothes because that would only take his attention of you to your clothes, trust me, I know. Dont flirt, just catch his attention with Good manners, and a Polite demeanour. Guys like that.
Short skirts will get a man to turn twice but Good character will get that long lasting relationship.

If he truly has forgotten, then wearing something short will work. But in the more likely event that he feels rejected, then it will only make him angry or jealous. If you do wear something short, say something about wearing it for him. Defuse his feelings of rejection.
