She had her Children taken away several years ago but was unable to do anything about it. She is really wanting someone to be an advocate for her. She has gone through alot of mental distress because of this. She just does not understand how they could say she was capable to take care of one of the children but not all three. She really needs someone to help her to find out how the state of Kansas could legally do this.

The court can decide anything they want when it comes to the best interest of the child. It could be that they feel she can handle one child but is too stressed and overwhelmed to handle three.

department of children is good at pulling stunts like that for no reason. Usually they dont have cause but they know a judge will automatically go for them. fight hard for her. talk to a lawyer. its wrong. if she can raise one she can raise 3. Can you help her by adopting the others or maybe family so they arent totally gone. I will pray for her. I know how it is i assure you.

No it is not legal, anywhere!!

I don't know what happened and I don't know what signed over means exactly, though no matter how or what it means it is criminal!

If it were in court, she is required to have a lawyer, and if they are looking for her to relinquish her rights with a threat, that is damn illegal! It is coercion!

She should contact the local bar association for a referral to someone who can give her legal advice.
