It is your friend's problem that she reacts violently when something you do "offends" her. There are better ways for her to respond if something you do is so upsetting to her. I'd bet what you have been doing that is so "offensive" would not be seen so by your other friends. Check it out with them.
Are you afraid of being permanently hurt? Being strangled can be deadly, or just can hurt your windpipe. It is also a criminal act.
She is not your friend and you do not have to be hers.

Stop being her friend! Find other friends. If she tries to strangle you, that is a very bad sign. She could kill you. Tell your parents IMMEDIATELY!
