I met him on Yahoo personals. When they were still free. Back in 2001. We talked on the internet for a few weeks then he agreed to meet me. We met at a park near his home. He gave me a stuffed bear, and I was so nervous I nearly wrang that poor things head off. He noticed too! We met again after that and it wasn't long before we starting getting serious. Now he is my one and only!!! And I still have the bear. It is sitting on a shelf in my bedroom next to a picture of us.

We met completely by accident during an open membership meeting for a club that I belong to. I was actually planning on ditching the mtg but decided to go at last minute.
He originally wasn't going to go, either. It was an 80 mile drive down, but decided to make it anyway.
It was love at first sight :)

Through a friend we were both very close with- but that friend never wanted us to meet because we were perfect for eachother and the "friend" wanted me. He eventually ran into my (now) husband with me and we fell inlove instantly. The next day my husband was involved in a life threatening experience and I nursed him back to health. He proposed and now we're best friends for life and have been for 2 amazing years.
We haven't spoken to the "friend" since, because he started some awful rumours about us to try to split us up. It's ok though, we both gained a new friend whilst losing one :)

Dumb luck. I was living in Patterson, NY and she was in Ohio. A buddy of mine wanted to visit a girl in Ohio and I went with him. This girl had an aunt who wanted to see who was after her niece, so we went to Dayton to meet her and her husband. Since we were in Patterson they asked if we knew Mark(my wife's bro) and I said yes(worked w/him) and said they know his sister. I remembered seeing her once and said,"she's real good looking , I'd like to meet her." Well we went back to NY and about 2 wks later my buddy reminds of what I said and asks if I want her #. I said sure, why not. 13 months later we were married. We just made 11 years.

Out in a farmers field, I was fixing a broken irrigation pipe. She was just being adorable. The rest is 24 years of history. Really good history!!

I met him at his work. I was a customer in his store. His employee thought my complaint to him was a come on and she encouraged him to send flowers to where I worked (We worked in the same Plaza). We were married 6 months later. We've been together ever since.

It took a lot of looking but I think I finally found her. I made a lot of misteaks. Online dating and the like. I then found her literally just next door.

i haven't met her yet. why are you interested in the position? i currently have an opening in that department. the pay isn't so great but it comes with an outstanding benefits package, meals are even included. there is also room for kids. and most rare there are dental benefits (and you just cant get that in some places)

At a coffee shop, and it turned out his family knew some of my family, we had tons in common, and became friends fast. It took almost 4 yrs. for him to talk me into the ring thing, but I'm sooo glad I said yes!
