Just do your own thing. If you feel the *need* to prove to her that you are, bring only female friends over... If you have a gf... kiss her... LOL :P Or even just give her a hug in front of your mom. Do you do this w/ your friends usually ? Bring someone over who you trust & get her to play along... lol. If you're not up for that, then who cares if your mom believes you or not. How old are you ? Do you have a gf ?

Well, theres not much you can do. She needs to come to terms with it on her own. Shes probably in denial right now. I know how upsetting it can be for you, Ive been there before. It took my mom 6 years of making excuses and denying it before she stopped. She still doesnt accept that im gay, but at least shes stopped trying to talk me into meeting some "nice guys" and carrying a purse! She even invited myself, my girlfriend and her son over for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, that was cool. Shes SLOWLY coming around. Hopefully, your mom will too. Its just hard being a parent and having certain expectations for your children, and its upsetting when your child doesnt live up to them sometimes (like not doing well in school, stuff like that.) The only thing you should do is stop fighting with her, be calm, and just be you. Give her LOTS of time and patience, and realize that she still does love you no matter what!!!

Stop telling her. By pushing it in her face makes it sound like you are just doing it for attention.

Also, bisexuality has nothing whatsoever to do with being "honry off of chicks and dudes!". It deals with falling for personality and liking a person no matter what genitalia they may have.

Your mom is in a huge state of denial. There is really nothing you can do to change her mind or get her out of her state of denial.

Just be who you are. If you want to go date a chick go date a chick. Maybe seeing you with a girl will hit it home. Don't purposely make out in front of her or anything.

Given the way you explain yourself here, I highly doubt you approach your mother with this info with much tact or manners at all. You're her daughter and it's obvious she's in denial. WHEN/IF you grow up a bit, try sitting your mom down and telling her in a grown-up way that you're unsure of your sexual orientation and intend on seeking out all of your options until you're sure. Until that day comes, keep your immature, obscene, ill-mannered mouth shut...especially around your poor mother!!!

I don't think there is much you can do right away to convince her. She may not be in denial... she probably just thinks you're going thru a phase. You don't have to tell her over and over again. Just live your life the way you want to. Eventually she'll realize that you were serious.

What difference does labeling yourself make in your relationship with her? If you know you are, then date whom you want to date. If the reason you are trying to convince her is because she keeps setting you up on dates with her friend's sons, then bring a girl home that you are going out with and let her know it is your girlfriend. Then hold hands with her and kiss her in front of your mother.

So many girls today are claiming to be bi because it gets them attention from horny guys and freaked out parents. If you truly are, you don't need to shove it in her face, she doesn't have to believe you at all. If you are happy with yourself why should her opinion matter?

imagine how you would feel if your daughter told you that, it is probably hard for her to take because she probably fears that you wont have the wedding that she has been planning mentally for years and give her grandchildren that she is looking forward to. give her some time and space she will come around. she loves you and will be there to support and try to understand the best way she knows how.
