WE think you should do your homework yourself... you'll learn more that way... or you could ask HOW to do the problem if you're confused and want some help learning algebra. Besides, none of those answers are right!
(a+26)-(a-36)a+76=?
First you have to get rid of the pesky little 'a' that is outside the parenthasis in
(a-36)a
You do this by multiplying what is inside the parenthasis by what is outside the parenthasis. So that it looks like this.
(a-36)a (distributive prop)
[(a)a-(36)a]
a squared - 36a
(sorry couldn't find a way to get superscripts.)
That should get you far enough to figure it out on your own.

= (a+26)-(a-36)a+76
= (a+26)-[(a-36)a]+76
= (a+26)-(a square - 36a)+76
= (a+26)- a square - 36a + 76
= a+ 26 -a square - 36a + 76
= -a square -35a + 102

a-146 or
= -(a-36)a+76
= (-a-36)a+76
= -a^2-76a-36a-112
= -a^2-112
= a+26-a^2-112
= -a-86
= -(a+86)
