how do i set up a wireless internet connection?

i have a pc that will only make a wired connection and will not let me make a wireless internet connection

You need to connect a wireless router to your cable modem/dsl modem. You also need a wireless card for your computer.

Once you have both of those its pretty easy to set up, you could check the instruction manuals and they would walk you through it.

i hope that you have a wireless card. if so them in your start menu there is a connection wizard there. it will take you step by step. first though there has to be a connection available, or a signal for it to work. to get a signal you will need a router, they sell them at computer stores and even radio shack will have them, some walmarts have them. there are instructions in the box on how to set it up.
