I'm 22 years old and staying w/ my parents for the summer, after working for 1 year and before starting a Masters degree in September. This summer I have a very high-paying job (I only need to work 15-20 hrs per week) and do 5-6 hrs of tutoring per week.
My mother constantly nags me! Today there were no clean towels in the linen closet, so I went downstairs and got a clean one from the dryer. I also put the clean towels in the dryer and washed the ones that were sitting on the machine. When my mom got home, she screamed at me for being lazy and not checking in the master bathroom to see any other towels needed washing. This kind of thing happens almost daily- she gets upset with me about a job I didn't even know needed doing, and she constantly, CONSTANTLY nags. I help out in a lot of ways but she never even says "thank you"- instead she nags me repeatedly about not completing jobs she never asked me to do.

My parents invited me home for the summer and said I could stay with them to save money for school, which I really need to do. I feel like a prisoner or slave though- I'm being constantly screamed and shrieked at for not magically reading my mother's mind.
What should I do?
