How long would it take my computer to delete 3500 files with an average size of 50KB each, when it's being a little *****?

How fast is your cpu? If it is an older computer 1.6GHz or about than my guesstimate is 9 minutes. If it is a newer one about 2.2GHz 3 - 4 minutes... if it's top of the line about 3.2GHz then 1-1.5 minutes but it's hard to know without more details....
