Do you think it alright to like your country, race, family ect better then other peoples?

as long as your not racist, hate, and hurt others?

I think it ok to be happy and proud of who you are, as long as it don't go to your head, and you become mean and racist..

sure, there is nothing wrong with being patriotic, and proud of who you are, as well as your heritage.

Well, it is ok and sometimes a good thing to be proud of your heritage, but I would suggest that you always temper that pride with the knowledge of history. Every nation has it's skeletons in the closet, every nation has it's horrors and injustices. Pride of accomplishment should always be considered in light of dangers and failures. The in group bias, ie prejudice, can be a very dangerous thing, or an empowering thing.

Also, the reason you like your family and country more might be because you haven't met lots of cool/spiritual/helpful people from other countries, but they are everywhere! Sometimes it just feels safer to stick with what we know...

Variety is the spice of life. It's fun to learn about and experience other cultures as well as your own.

Yah, I think America is the best country in the world. And my Family/Friends are better than anyone else. I'm not like that towards races though.
