My guy is definitely worht it! I agree that tit takes lots of work, effort, etc. I tried for 21 years with my ex and it didn't work out, so I left, got divorced, and moved on. The guy I have now is a total opposite of the one I had before and is totally awesome, amazing, etc!! I wouldn't trade him for anyone or anything. Yes, he has his faults, but we all have faults and we learn to live with them. We cannot change someone else, we just have to live with who they are.

Well men would think the same thing wouldnt they? Havin to deal with a bitchy woman, picky, always wanting her way, kids screaming, being tied down. etc. This is the reason I think some men fear marriage. Not all are bad. But today ur right it's not like it use to be. But you shouldnt worry about who others have done it's what you know and feel is right. I really think ppl need to learn to communicate more and be honest. Stop relishing on the past. And move on this is the only way we can turn this stereo typing around about marriage. It's not the word marriage it's the ppl who treat it like a word with no life and meaning who are ruining it. And I dont think it's possible to not go through life or anything without some type of stress. Just learn to deal with it. So yes i think their worth it. If you love them deal, dont change him.

A loving relationship is always worth it. But like anything worthwhile, it takes time and effort to make the most of it. After almost 30 years of marriage, I can tell you there have been many times where it would have been easy to walk away, but hanging in there and working on improving myself and learning how to show and receive love I couldn't imagine starting over with anyone else. My wife and I had only known each other for 3 months before we eloped, so we had a lot of learning and growing to do together.

Sometimes it is not the man. It is the woman that causes the stress and/or causes the marriage to fail by cheating, abandoning, or what ever other reason they choose.
What I see alot is that when the honeymoon is over and it's time to be married and comfortable with your life that is when people will run away from or cheat on their marraige. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
What happened to the voes and the respect of marriage and family values?

men and women who can not commit to a relationship do cause stress. Unhealthy relationships can effect every aspect of your life and if you are in one you need to reevaluate why you choose to continue with the relationship. You are right, life is too short and you want to be happy.

Considering the alternatives (becoming lesbian or having no intimate relationships), it looks like most women think it is worth it.

You must kiss the frogs to find your prince. Well I keep dreaming anyway. Truth is, no they aren't worth it but they are all straight women have.
