I think there are some people who are truly evil at heart, as you put it. The one that comes to mind when I think of evil is the man who kidnapped & killed Adam Walsh - the little six year old son of John Walsh. My mother-in-law is right up there, too, she's pretty nasty but she's gotten good at covering it up & acting nice, especially when she's at church, pretending to be a do-good Christian Woman.

Yes, some people are.
Mostly its people who were abused badly as children. I think they get into a mindset that since the world was bad to them, they can be bad to everybody else. Its usually subconscious I think. Sometimes therapy helps.

naivety goes hand in hand with altruism. maturation in the world we live in and the corruption of childhood makes most people grow greedy, and in turn, evil at heart

Yes, some people are. There could be a lot of reasons, like abuse in their past or mental illness.

i think ppl are really good at heart when they first start out. when they start turning bad, they just have a bad influence, childhood, or parenting.

Yes they are. it is because people do that which they perceive to be in their own best interest. No one is truely altruistic.
