If I want to get into Star Wars(movies), from where should I start. Which movie first?

I haven't seen any but i think they are great. So help me in getting started.

Again, evidence of George Lucas' creativity. He filmed the movies in this order- Star Wars(later named A New Hope( Epi.IV)),Epi. V, Epi. VI, Epi. I,Epi. II, Epi. III. I suggest viewing them in numerical sequence NOT in chronological order.

Watch episode 4, 5 and 6. Then watch 1-6.

This is the way George Lucas wanted us the viewers to see the movie. Also over the next few years episode 1-6 will be released in 3-D.

How much do you know about the saga? If you know little about the story, start with the original trilogy, New Hope (4), Empire Strikes Back (5), and Return of the Jedi (6). You'll have the surprise and suspense and mystery Lucas originally put into them.

If you know already who Han, Leia, Luke, Vader, and such are beyond simply recognizing pictures of them, start with Phantom Menace (1) and go through them in numerical order.

I would start with 1 & go all the way through in numeric order. I'm from the generation that started with #4 & it got confusing to me when 1 2 & 3 came out! lol Enjoy - & stock up on popcorn & drinks!!!

You've GOT to start with Episode IV, A New Hope. Then watch V and VI. I'm sorry, while good, the prequels aren't up to the calliber of the originals, so start with them.
