My cousin had the same problem but she was lucky enough to have three children. Then they kind of took over her ovaries had she had to have a hysterectomy. One of my good friends had cyst all over her ovaries and had maybe 2 periods a year. She was put on the right fertility drugs and now has a beautiful 1 1/2 month old little girl. Good luck and God bless.

I am a prime example of PCOS. For 4 years I never ovulated or had a period. My ex-husband and I tried everything just short of IVF. My doctors told me I would never conceive. I took Prometrium to have periods and that would help, but never was able to conceive. In May of 05 I had a massive uterine bleed. Either a cyst ruptured or a fibroid in my uterus did. In late September or early October, I ended up pregnant. Only thing is that I am single and wasnt expecting it. I had given up on ever having a child. So, I was half scared but more excited than anything. So, yes it is possible. Some people have a very hard time or never are able to. So...yes it is possible.
After my divorce, I lost a lot of weight, started having an active life and living for myself. In a year and a half I shed 80lb. That helped I think. But still, its one of those "you never know" cases. I wish you all the best.

I was told from the time i started menstrating that i would never have kids for very similar reasons. I would get a second or third if necessary opinion. Try a midwife or naturopathic doctor as well there are so many options. I have a six month old healthy boy now just don't give up hope think positive and be spiritual if that helps you normally.

Now don't get out of your pram.........English slang for stay calm.
Are you a lil over weight, be honest.
You can change your diet & the cysts will calm, they can disappear altogether & not affect ovulation.
It's called Polycystic Ovaries, you can get past it.
Don't panic.
