Is wearing jeans to someone's high school graduation okay or is that too casual?

No! Way too casual! The grads are supposed to wear something nice under their gowns, so why would you show up looking like you're going to the corner store? Put on some nice slacks and a button up (for guys) or a nice skirt with a cute top.

Depends, if you are younger than say 22, then jeans is okay because age wise you are not required to dress up. Just make sure you pair it with a nice button up shirt or polo and no tennis shoes, loafers are better. If you are 22 or older then probably khakis would be best.

I believe that would be a bit too casual. A jean skirt may be alright, but I think just plain old jeans isn't quite dressy enough.

i think it could look really nice if you wear it with like a nice button up or a nice dress shirt and some nice little shoes like not tennis shoes or flip flops unless theyre nice flip flops. to my friends 8th grade grad (im in 9th grade) i wore jeans and a button down shirt with a black cami and little black dress shoes. also dont wear ripped jeans because those just wouldnt cut the part. hopefully that helped you out :)

I think it is okay because you can still look classy and well dressed in a pair of jeans....girl you will be fine...I am sure a lot of people will be wearing jeans

It is usually too casual, but if you really feel like you must, dress it up with a really nice top and shoes.

I basically graduated from extreme college, and a number of of alternative the girls have been wearing the two clothing or dressy pants, and the adult adult males have been in shirts and ties with dress pants. i would not positioned on denims.

NO - wear them and get a stupid shirt with it ( always stand next to them)
YES - too casual. wear a nice pair of dress pants

normally, i would say no. but i guess it all depends on the school district too. i went to a rural school, and a lot of people wore jeans.
