Yes, it is worth it, if you own a HDTV and don't mind paying $60 for the games. But it will be just as worth it to wait a while and see if the price drops any or if you can find a used one.

Absolutely! Many reasons why is because, some games for it are only 49.99(Project Gotham Racing 3, Perfect Dark Zero) and most of the 3rd party titles such as King Kong, NBA 2k6, and many more are just 39.99. And you can also get the hotter titles such as Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Call Of Duty 2 pre owned for alot cheaper. Get this system now and you will be happy. Cause this is more than just a gaming machine.

I dont have one but I am not going to get one because I dont think it is worth spending $400 for it

well, compared to the $300 version it definately is, but I don't think the Core System is worth $300, so all in all, no.

p.s. i also hate the controllers.....too small and "square", if you know what i mean.

madden in hi-def is amazing on my Gamecube and my Xbox too... you don't need to spend $400 to get hi-def.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. You could better buy an ipod with that. Or better buy a PS2. Or else, if you really want an Xbox 360, you could buy a used one. It's cheaper.

According to my men friends, no.

To them it wasn't worth it.
They say they use their other game systems, portable or not more than the new xBox.

I think I'd rather go for the PS3. But then again, it's $600 if you want to pay for the most features.
