I can't see how his death changes anything. I'm sure there's a lot of people in line to take his place. Also, his branch of Al-Qaeda wasn't responsible for 9/11.

The only thing I see happening is the administration uses his death to mark a victory and that gives them the ability to start bringing the troops home. I really don't see why the "insurgency" would stop just because he's dead. These people hate us and will continue to kill us as long as we are there. They seem to have an unending supply of suicide bombers and young men that don't care if they live or die.

Sadly no, this war will never end. As long as there is so much hatred instilled between the cultures and religions of the Middle East, it will not end. As a Christian, I don't see any lasting peace until Jesus Christ returns as He promised in the gospels. :)
