Martin Luther King Jr., Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, Malcolm X (say what you want about him, but the man was very intelligent), Nelson Mandela, George Washington Carver, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, W.E.B. DuBois, among many, many others. Hell, Morgan Freeman's played some of the most respectable roles I've ever seen in film.

EDIT: Oh my god, Rosa Parks! How could I forget her?

Name a disrespectful question on Yahoo Answers...

I don't know what your race is, but it's people like you that keep perpetuating the racist beliefs so that they will never end.

I don't believe in reincarnation, but I wish you could be re-born black so you can relate to how they have to live. In fact, I wish you could be born back in the era when segregation still existed and the Ku Klux Klan organized themselves.

NEVER judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

I could name many respectful black people. Have you ever heard of Madeline Cartwright??? Probably not, you're probably one of those people who only hate black people just to fit into a group because you don't have anything else to set you apart.
