A few of options:
-There is usually a Goodwill or another charity thrft store in most cities, some of which will often pick-up the donations from your house if they have a route in the area.
-A yard/garge sale
-Call the local welfare office and find out which services will accept them. Many low-income families have no toys and many public service places will distribute good condition older toys to reuse them.
-Most towns have a second-hand store where you could sell them andget a small amount of money back.
-Finally, the children's ward of a hospital or the police station often will accept used toys. The police use stuffed animals and such to calm children who have to be seperated from their parents (for abuse or what have you) and the children's wards need as much cheer as they can get.
-Also some churches accept donations for their nurseries.

I agree with the last answer use ebay it will cost you 50p max to llist an item with a price going up to about £5 so its well worth doing. its really easy to use too. ive made a small fortune. not only will you sell your daughter old toys you will probably buy her new ones there too at a cut price. Ebay is Like pringles, "Once You Pop (In A Bid Or An Item) You Just Cant Stop.

Go to Freecycle.org. Most cities have a Freecycle.com in their area but you have to go to www.freecycle.org to get to where you find the one for your city. If you are not familiar with it, it is a Yahoo Group where you can giveaway stuff you dont need anymore. The whole point of this group is giving away stuff. There is no selling involved. It is a MAJOR rule. Also you can ask for things that you are looking for.

donation; you arent going to make too much mony at a garage sell. most stuff you'll have to sell for 25 cents each... so unless you desparately need the money.. you should donate it and help kids that are much more less fortunate.
