I agree with you man, hes done a great job and if it wasn't for him al-zarqawi, an al quida mastermind would be alive and on the run.

And he'll get the Nobel peace prize because he's done so much to promote peace in the world, end wars, promote international understanding...?
oh, geez, wait...gotta pick myself up off the floor from laughing so hard. Ooh, that was a good laugh.
Bush might win the Nobel peace prize when he leaves office, since that act will do more to ensure peace in the world than anything else he's done. Otherwise, he doesn't stand a chance.

As a liberal (see first response), my question to conservatives is:
What has GWB done to DESERVE a Nobel Peace Prize?
If he can win it with troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and it looks like we might be going back to Somalia, he's in the wrong line of work - he needs to be in sales, because that would be some INCREDIBLE spin - no matter if you are Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Republican!!
First off, I think he'd have to erase all third world debt. There is no way these countries can develop with the financial hole they are in.
Next, he'd have to find a way to find a way of giving plans for alternative energy to the world, WHILE keeping oil a profitable commodity (to keep the middle east appeased). By giving it away and not selling it, that's the only way it'd be seen as a truly humanitarian gesture.
Our foreign policy would also have to change radically - aside from the items above, foreign issues will have to be dealt with using more diplomacy, not troops - Foreign troops in your country do nothing but cause animosity.
Finally, there would have to be major changes made to the pharmaceutical and the automotive industry.
Of course, he can't accomplish this before his term ends - it will take DECADES for all of this to occur!

Bush won't do anything. He doesn't even know what that is. I think the only things that deserve the Nobel Prize are:
Air
Moon
Sun (stars)
Firstly, the air goes into bad people and good people. It doesn't care who it goes into. It just cares if the wind takes it away.
Then, the moon. Every night People across the see looks up at the moon. Then we look at it. It's peaceful and tranquil.
Lastly, the Sun and other stars deserve it. They warm the Earth and shine the light onto the land. It's perfect.

Winning a Nobel Peace prize is not a recognition of having the power to enforce it for sinister motives.

i'm not a democrat OR a republican, but i dont think he'll be getting one EVER. its been proven that his cabinet has lied to us and made many terrible errors, but at the same time, a lot of us were right there behind him and believed a lot of his stuff way too willingly. i think overall he's not a very good president. i dont think he's evil or anything like that.... if anything, i think he's a puppet and doesnt really understand the things he's saying.
deocrats suck - republicans blow.

Be the 3rd to last person on earth, and have the other person be Osama Bin Ladden. The only other person left would be the person giving out the award.
