It says that evolutionizing spambots can now thwart MUNGING, UNICODE ENCODEMENT and even WEB FORMS!

I wouldn't be surprised if they are developing spambots which can scan your JPEG as well!

The internet is a public place, first and foremost, you shouldn't be putting up any information that you wouldn't tell any random people. Put differently, imagine that you're in a public place, with a bullhorn. When you post something publicly, on the internet, you're yelling it at the top of your lungs through the bullhorn to whoever can hear you. Here, that means anyone, anywhere with a computer and a connection. Someone who hears you will send you spam... it's just the way things work. You cannot post something publicly and expect only nice, nonspammer people to see it.

So, you have a couple choices, depending on how sophisticated you want to get:

- Don't post your address. Or post an address you don't care about, so you can pick out the messages you want to see to follow up from your personal address. If you're willing to check through things every day or so, give Mailinator a try... throw away addresses, even if they get spammed, it doesn't matter.

- Implement the opposite direction. Put up a web form that allows people to submit their address to you, store it or output it somewhere private and then either automatically or manually follow up with them later, from your address. The only email address this involves when they hit your page is theirs, and most spambots aren't going to be submitting addresses anywhere.

- Implement an alternative. Put up a web form for people to write messages to you with their email address, and have your backend stick it in a database. You can check the database later.

Do you see the theme here? If you don't want everyone to have your address, don't post it. Give them an alternative way to contact you that they can't spam, or that it doesn't matter if they spam.

Block the sender, mark as junk mail, junk them. Or get used to deleting. When you signal as much as internet sites or placed or submit your e-mail on something, assume extra junk mail. I'm no longer pronouncing you cannot ever submit your e-mail on a internet site however simply assume it. You see, different persons or corporations who ship junk mail pay standard internet sites to ship them different persons's emails so they may be able to junk mail extra persons and trick them into purchasing fake models or coming into your financial institution ID or ebay password, that is false. But many persons nonetheless fall for. Maybe you'll have one e-mail account and a further one that you employ to signal as much as internet sites and stuff, that is what I do to avert junk mail. The easiest way is to post your adress but substitute one or more characters in it. And then tell people what characters needs to be replaced. It's a pain, yes, but what can ya do. Spammers need to be... handled...
