I pick the same numbers, don't play, & thus I don't lose my $1 each time. I figure that I'm a few thousand ahead right now.
One time, my dad & I went shopping, & he had debt with the grocery store. He owed about $400 to the store. He told me that he didn't have the money to pay the grocery store owner. Well, we had to have groceries, so we went to ask for extended credit. Just as we walked up to the office I suddenly had 3 numbers pop into my head, & told my dad to put a $1 on those 3 numbers, in that order. He won! He paid our grocery bill with his winnings, and had some money to spend on groceries.

I just do a lucky dip, there's exactly the same chance of any sequence of numbers coming up and if you have a regular set you can get obsessed with making sure you play in case they come up!
