They are legal money and banks will take them. With the dates worn off, they probably aren't worth much more than 5 cents, but you could probably find a coin dealer who would give you a little more than 5 cents each for them. Look for dates with a magnifying glass -- if they're legible, even faintly, that greatly increases the value of the coins.

Years ago, I visited Gatlinburg, Tennessee and there were souvenir dealers there who sold Buffalo nickels with the dates worn off for 25 cents each. If you could find such a souvenir dealer and convince him to give you 10 or 15 cents each for them, he could still make a decent profit.

For a while dateless Buffalos were selling at $0.50 that was late last year. The price of copper and nickel soared but lots of dateless buffalos were sold.

They are still legal tender, they slowly grow more vauable but it is difficult to sell them I know most collectors use them in every day transaction.
