Bill Wilson was a Wall street gambler, an anti union organiser and his buddy doc.bob was a proctologist. And all the folks they say they have saved is actually B.S
Their 12 step program has been responsible for many suicides.

Oh and yeh, he actually used the organisation to cheat on his wife

He's the founder of Alchoholics Anonymous, and that 12 Step Program has become the basis of other 12 Step groups, like Overeaters Anonymous, etc.

He is the founder of AA and I guess he has so many friends because there are so many alcoholics in the world. Budweiser and Jack Daniels have made their product look so good to people that many lives have been ruined by it.

"I'm a friend of Bill W." is basically code for "I belong to Alcoholics Anonymous" so that members can support each other without having to ask, "Hey, are you an alcoholic, too?"
