No matter how many 'experts' around here claim that there are alternate universes or other dimensions or a brick wall, nobody--repeat NOBODY--really knows. Tons of theories, but not one single shred of evidence to support any of them.
Scientific research has repeatedly indicated that our universe is infinite in scope, and that it will expand forever although its contents (mass and energy) will very, very gradually fade away to nothing.
Before our universe began, and right now, there's probably nothing else but an absolute and infinite void totally without energy, mass, spacetime, dimensions or anything else.

the universe does have borders, its marked by groups of stars and strong gravitational fields at its very edge. there is a theory which explains to why the universe expands. it says that there are other forces even outside the universe, the universe expands because its trying to balance the two forces out, theoretically the force inside is much hotter. if or when the two forces are balanced, everything will freeze but by then there will be no Galaxy's or stars as the stars will all turn into black wholes and crush everything within its gravity into tiny little atoms. the final conclusion is that even the universe will die billions of years from now, so we are doomed, unless we find a world outside our universe. however some scientists claim that the universe does not have an end, i personally refuse to believe because that would mean there is an end to our world after all and we cant even put up a fight.
the idea of heaven has more to do with religion than science. but i personally believe that behind every human thought there is a reality, so there may be a heaven some where out there, it surely isn't at the end of our universe because if it is, then its just a matter of time before we colonize it too.

What is at the end of the universe?
Doesn't it keep expanding? What is it expanding into? Do you think heaven is at the end of the universe?
Before we can address that question, we must first define universe.
The word universe denotes all space and everything (matter, energy) contained within it. The prefix uni means one. The root verse means word, carnate message, meaningful substance, matter. Questions regarding our universe persist today. Does it have a beginning and end, or does it go on forever and ever? Is it linear or curved? If it has limits of length or curvature, then what lies beyond the Universe? If something lies beyond the Universe, then can’t we accurately call that the Universe?
Some lay people and some scientists conceive of the universe as infinite space. Others define the universe as finite, or limited (perhaps curved), space. Still others incorporate the elements of matter and/or energy into their definition of the universe, as opposed to the space beyond matter and energy.
Given these concepts of our universe, some scientists conclude that the “totality of space could be infinite. Shrink an infinite space by an arbitrary amount, and it is still infinite. (Scientific American March 2005).”
As to the notion that we live in an ever expanding universe, moving away from every other universe on the fabric of space-time, some scientists are careful to point out that “
Andromeda, our nearest large galactic neighbor, is actually moving toward us, not away. Such exceptions arise because Hubble's law describes only the average behavior of galaxies (Scientific American March 2005).”
In accordance with your supposition that our universe is in another universe, “it has been hypothesized by some scientists that the universe may be part of a system of many other universes, known as the multiverse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universe).” Modern astrophysicists talk about multiple "pocket" universes that branch off from one another. Stephen Hawking points out that parallel pocket universes can have no effect on a real observer inside a single pocket, so, according to Hawking, they are theoretical baggage that should be eliminated from cosmology, the study of the origins of the universe.
Some string theories define the universe as a three-dimensional space in an invisible space having more dimensions. This is, in essence, a universe within a universe. Our zone, a “braneworld” could periodically bounce into another parallel braneworld. This may create what would appear as a Big Bang from one perspective or a Big Bounce of alternating expanding and contracting universe from another perspective. Such a cataclysmic event is thought to occur 300 billion years from now, resulting in the rearranging and creation of a new universe.
What is at the end of the universe? We don’t know exactly, but have some theories estimating it. Doesn't it keep expanding? Yes, it is expected to keep expanding for a long time before it starts to contract. What is it expanding into? It may be expanding into another universe. Do you think heaven is at the end of the universe? A distinctively different reality, such as heaven, is more likely to exist in either another universe or in another dimension rather than at a fixed distance in our own universe.

The Universe is really a Multiverse and each one is boundless and Heaven is a physical place in Revelation Ch. 21:2 it uses the word "Orianos"in the Greek language which when translated into English is ORION. A Constellation in the Heavens visible for 9 months out of the year. Job 38:31-32, Job 9:9, and Amos 5:8 also mention Orion,Arcturus, and Pleiades BY NAME in these verses by the way that is in the KJV (King James Version)

As there is no "end to the universe" this is a unanswerable question. However there is - according to Douglas Adams - a
Restaurant at the end of the Universe (book 2 in the 4 book Trilogy of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

it just keeps expanding into an empty space and i dont think heaven is at the end because heaven can be everywhere for a spiritual man.

you cant expect an answer from this. no one knows. for all anyone knows there could be candy canes or the entire universe could be a collection of atoms in another thing which is in an atom of another thing... the possibilities are endless.

We don't know...But, as far as we can see, like with Hubble telescope, everything looks the same as just looking around us: lots and lots of endless stars and galaxies.
