it may make it a short period or just make it lighter but it will probably be normal till your next period,i had that after my son was born and my period stopped for 3 years which i didnt mind.i did gain a hell of a lot of weight though.

the shot that is for 3 months? I would never do that again. i tried it ONCE and i didnt get my period for 8 months or so! i had to go the doctor in order to get my period and come back to my normal life.

Why didn't you ask the person who gave you the shot? If your period came on after the shot, call the doctor and ask now. If you cannot contact your doctor--call a pharmacist--they have knowledge and books on things like these.
