Don't you just love the fact that the chixy dix have had to cancel several of their tour locations due to poor ticket sales? It breaks me heart! ;)

btw...it is not due to lack of advertising, they are black listed from many southern radio stations and are not getting any favorable reviews from Republican areas. Even Houston had only 6,000 tickets sold.

I personally don't like them, but admire their guts for saying what they feel. What about freedom of speech? Or is that only when its in your interests? Americans have to get off their high horse, and accept that they too make mistakes and are open for critism. A takes a bigger man to accept criticism and do something to remedy it, as opposed to sulk and chastise anyone who talks ill of them.

People are getting damn tired of all the anti-american traitors in entertainment and elsewhere. It's not just Dixie Chicks who are taking a hit in the wallet. Most news outlets (except Fox), TV, magazines, movies etc. are being hit and hit hard. The whole anti-christmas campaign this year was disasterous for the retail sector. People are tired of it and specifically going out of their way to avoid people and institutions like this.

This ain't the 60's. Time these marxists realized it.

I think it is very interesting how thier new album could open at #1 on the album charts and sell over 500,000 copies in its first week and later flop with ticket sales. And this REALLY does break my heart because I thought they were gonna make a comebak (a la "Mimi")!

I disagree. due to the fact that their ticket sales seem to be due the lack of advertising they are getting in specific markets. If you don't want to see or hear them, that's your decision. It doesn't mean that radio stations shouldn't play their music or advertise their concert dates. This is America-freedom of speech is important.

Doesn't surprise me any. They have big mouths, and most of the things they say are not popular opinion.
