What works for me is to take a small 5 to 10 minute break. Also reading the paper or an interesting article on the news can help. The secret is to distract your mind for a short period of time and think about something else outside of work.

If you find that walking,reading or just sitting down to relax and close your eyes for a bit doesn't help you may need to be put on something like Zoloft.
Some people have a hard time dealing or nothing they try to do to relieve it helps,so a doctor will intervene.

Go outside if you can. A quick walk can work wonders! Practice deep breathing exercises (breath all the way down to your stomach). I also like to draw little pictures to get my mind off things.
