Isn't it 40 hours a week in the whole country?

Depends on the company and some state laws, but most that I have worked for have considered 32 hours/week for 8 consecutive weeks or more full time.

To whoever this question was asked by the answer is 40 hours a week to be considered a full time worker.Go to bls.gov an choose any career,then go to all the sections about this topic.i learned that in 6th grade now.then again it depends on what type of job you have.

Generally 40 hours, but some companies vary. Some are 36+, others I've heard are 45+.............but most are at 40

In most places it's 40 hrs, but sometimes it's 30 or more. Just ask your boss what he/she does at their company.
