Is it becuase they ran out of storage inside the store?

its just an advertisement that they sell that product. they have colder ones inside. without knowing what the sale price is the customer would just buy gas with a debit card and never go inside

You know, I live in Texas, and I have wondered that alot. I never buy them and neither does anyone else. Last year they got so hot that you could see exploded cans in the stacks. They have started putting water out there too because when you are parched, you crave a hot bottle of water.

I don't know but that would not work here in Arizona. I had a party and left some soda putside until I could find room in my fridge. And those can blew up. I thought I had been shot, several times.

Are you asking about the boxed cans and bottles, or are you asking about the refrigerated soda machines?

For the boxed cans and bottles it is likely about storage space.

For the machines it is marketing. ( it certainly is not energy efficiency)

you know i wonder the same thing, these are the sodas that i do not buy, they sit there looking every bit flat, i bypass these altogether
