How much do you expect from someone who loves you?

Yes, yes, and yes.

Interest (or care, or however you define the opposite of indifference) and honesty should be the foundations of all our relationships; even casual ones.

And what is a serious relationship, if not one with a special level of fidelity?

#1 - Infidelity, #2 - dishonesty (different levels) & #3 Indifference (is a bad one too)

I have dealt with two of the three and those two went together. The infidelity was a stupid mistake that happened after her father passed away, but the hiding, deceit and bold-faced lies hurt me immensely. It's taken a long time for me to feel okay about the female species. Not sure I will ever feel good about women.

Dishonesty is a big one. Don't lie to me. Infidelity usually follows dishonesty because you obviously had a reason to be dishonest and it was probably because of an infidelity.

Unfortunately, all three usually go together. They also tend to include a fourth, "lack of compassion".

I expect my wife to keep the promise that she made on our wedding day.

anything that he knows would make me angry is betrayal. if he cheated i would throw battery acid in his face. if he lies i will make him pay. if we have an argument i will win.
