Does it matter?

It's more than a little insulting, if you think about it: now that we've started thinking that Mary Magdalene might have been one of Christ's disciples, we start hearing that she might have had a sexual relationship with Christ.

As if the only way she could've gotten into the inner circle of Jesus's circle of disciples was on her back! No, obviously it couldn't have been her brains or her spirituality. No, the only way a mere WOMAN could've gotten to be a disciple was by sleeping her way in!

Whether she did or didn't have a relationship with Jesus shouldn't be important in our thinking about Jesus or Mary Magdalene.

To find the answer don't ask true or false, what's your status with the Lord? Do you know him? as your savior? Has he done amazing things in your life? Then you know that everything extra that they want you to believe in, is really fake. Don't ask questions and expect fast food style answers. Seek the Lord with all your heart and you will find more than you ever dreamed of. Lack of wisdom brings confusion. Some people aren't just happy with the truth.

It all depends what you mean by relationship. If you mean sexual, the answer is a NO. If you mean a close, personal friendship, the answer is YES.
