I agree with you. Oprah really is an amazing woman. She is one of those people who wasn't handed anything and even had alot of adversity to overcome. In spite of that, she made something of herself. She is to be admired. One other thing I like about Oprah is that she is still down to earth and caring even though she's extremely wealthy. She has made and continues to make an impact on many people in a good way. What a fantastic role model she is for women everywhere.

I wish Oprah was my landlord 'cause then when she came by to collect the rent we could chat about Amy Tan books and how to keep a good man and what R&B artist's emotional breakdown was real or not and then she would invite me over to meet Steadman and then I would say, "Steadman, why ain't you married this sweet lovely woman yet? If you don't move in on her, I might make it a go!" and then we'd all chuckle at my wit then we'd drink some Earl Grey camomille tea and enjoy the summer breeze whipping the white linen curtains around like a ballet of garden fairies tickling the air with their scrunched, cute pixie noses.
And hopefully she'd forget about the rent.

Not fully agreed. Jodie Foster is the most amazing woman on the face of the Earth. Oprah make a damn good 2nd though.

I definitely don't think Opra should be made a saint by any stretch of the imagination nor do I believe that she is equipped to be the President of our country (not that our current President is, either). She is a great person, I just dont think those things are meant for her.

She can't be a saint because she 's not a Catholic (or even a Christian) nor do I think that she'll want to be made a saint in something she doesn't believe. Maybe president but...why do you think that she's amazing?

well since you only know her tv personality and how the media portrays her, I would say you are a bit detached from truely knowing who she is....but Oprah for president would be alot better than we have now....she does seem to care about people, but that is also the way she got filthy rich....
