Its rare because of Islamic law. Turkey for the most part is a Islamic state. Gelatin is made from pork, one of the main ingredients of gummy bears. Pork according to Islam is bad and therefore can not be eaten.

I never realized that, i was in IStanbul 3 years go. Its an islamic country, could be related to something on islam. But probably not, maybe its not too profitable to import or product it. You need to create a demand b4 that.
