Because she has intelligent lyrics, a wonderfully soulful voice and is beautiful to boot. I love her too. I remember I dressed up as her for Halloween when I was ten years old! She definitely doesn't get enough credit for influencing so many people over the years.

Cyndi always had a very unique style and, most importantly, has never been fake.
I haven't followed her progress since the late 80s, but I'm sure I'd still love her work.
