Am I a rebel?

Question

I keep on getting after school, break and lunchtime detentions, I get angry with the teachers easily, I can't help It. Also I got my nose pierced a couple of weeks ago, with parents permission and everything. But they object and say it's body jewellery, which we aren't allowed.
What am I doing wrong?

I also have my ears pierced quite a lot, I love piercings and I don't see why I should Change that

i get mad at the teachers easy to. i got suspended from school once for screaming to the teacher and i got expulsed from a spanish clasrrom because i didnt want to take a test, i left the classroom, the teacher said that if she were my mother she would brake my face, a friend told me she said that and then i entered the classroom and said: who the hell are you to say that you wana brake my face?

girl, your pretty rigth, your a rebel and so am i. but who the heck cares?forget about them. your mother and father supose to love you no matter what, and the rest of the people? its annoyng to be with someone that is all the time, hey you shouldnt do this, you shouldnt do that, why did you do that? why did you do this? and why that, why this, dont do that this the other thing, its annoyng being with some one that do that all the time. thats why we wont ever ever fit in at the society, because the rest of the people care of a lot of things and we are careles but if we have friends rebels like us, its beter than having one telling you all the time that you shouldnt do that this and the other thing.

your doing nothing wrong, just keep doing what you are doing, your not the only one, like you theres millions of more of people, you will get rechased by a lot of people because you are screaming trough the world all the time, because thats what you are doing rigth now, when you get mad at teachers? your going agains them, and im pretty sure that when i say is green you say is blue, i know, im like that to.
like i said, you will get rechased by a lot of people if you do that, but if you are telling people all the time dont do that, you will get rechased by a lot of people to, and anyway a rebel dosnt care if we get rechased or not.
anyway if you would like to change of being a rebel... i bet 10 dollars you wont. and you will go against me, sure i can, i can change if i want.

Yes you may be a rebel in your eyes, but this image is also causing you detention in your free time. I don't know if it is worth it. But, I do know that rules are rules so if you break them you will be punishes. Its like that in everyday life ex. if you speed on the highway yes you might be a rebel but when you get pulled over and get a ticket all cool points go out the window. But, you might be doing these things hoping not to get caught. But just remember that your not the first teenager your teachers come acrossed (been there done that). As for the nose ring take it out for school and put it back in after school So you can still be a rebel and keep your cool points.

1)detention is relative, they can put you there for nothing literally if one of the teachers doesn't like you
2)if your teachers don't like you due to their prejudices, you have all the right to be angry with them
3)there's nothing wrong with nose piercing. If it's small it actually looks really cute:) And besdies you can still take it out, what's the problem.

Be yourself no matter what anybody says, even your parents. You're not a rebel to me, you're normal, but other people may think you are one. We got different standards for that. You're way better off being rebel than brain washed. It looks like you have very conservative parents, i'm sorry to hear that. But you can still take the piercinng out, changing your personality isn't that easy.

I reccomend obeying school rules, otherwise you just give your tachers the chance to take you to detention for being who you are. Give them what they want so that they can't hinder your development.

no your not if teachers think ur bad news just because of a piecing well thats not right. id be very surprised if you did get on good wit teachers as most kids dnt. ur parents agreed to it an if u only have a stud theres no big satey tret. maybe you shud tak 2 a toter r year head or sumting like tat an if u feel tey dnt imply 2 the teachers tat u tink ter being a bit hard on u u shud get a parent 2 go 2 the skool an try sort it out. good luck xxxx

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. As long as you are kind and respectful who cares if you want a piercing, it's not their business. The school's business is to teach you, not to judge you. Maybe you can't wear your jewelry to school but know that you aren't doing anything wrong. My son's teacher tried to make him get his hair cut and I left it up to him (my son). It's normal to get angry with your teacher. I noticed that your spelling is perfect and so is your punctuation. You are a smart person, stay positive. Do you think you are doing anything "wrong"? I think in time all things work themselves out. When you get tired of detention you will find a way not to be there. Be a nice person. Maybe you are just a challenge to your teachers, that is not always a bad thing. You aren't doing anything wrong, I think you are normal.

you r not a rebel, as u got parental consent for your nose piercing, u may get detentions but u r a teenager with hormones get over it. it happens! if u wont to be a rebel get something done without parental content ie some scaffold in your ear or a Tagus done. other wise u r just another teenager trying to be something u r not, different. tiring to get attention from others and a reaction.

Did you mug, rape, rob others, put them in danger, hurt or bully them in anyway. Ally you self with racist, prejudcial or nasty groups like the KKK? NO

The onlything wrong with piecings is not getting it done somewhere professional and safe expecailly with things like tongue, belly, nipple or gental piecings and nipple rings make an really vunerable spot in a fight ie ring pull OUUUUUUUUUUUUUch.

Make a deal... they let you keep the jewllery and you improve your grades... but you would have to stick to it... thats negiation and deal making and diplomacy.

What are the fights about...? maybe a punch bag would help... Far better get into something like extreme sports or better still music to channel that anger into something positive. You are hormones and feelings if upset about it...

Could make you creative if you can apply it. And by the sounds of it if you find the right channel you could put a lot of drive into it.


Though before you get a tattoo (remember safe needles) make sure its what you want to be stuck with and dont just shag a guy to be rebellious... it will hurt you, do it only if thats what you want (then do it safe)

There could be a hundred reasons why you are behaving in a way you know will cause trouble. Maybe you are lacking boundaries at home and are trying to find what's ok and what's not, or you are in need of attention, for one reason or another. I don't believe you are a bad person, you just need to find what it is in life that's missing and making you act like this. For me I calmed down when God called me, don't want to push my faith but if you get to the point where you want to stop, cry to God and He'll help you

hey i think your just expressing your personality but the short temper is something u can change or control,as 4 piercings tht may make u look a rebel but i doesn't make you 1, i usually get told i'm the worst student in the school by teachers but if i have to i can control myself and act as i should i might get every1 angry but still when i talk seriously they respect what i say i think you just need to anylise yourself as a person and deside yourself what you want to be.:)

Trying to classify yourself won't help. And, yes, you can help getting angry, but you have to work at it, and its something you'll develop with age.

I presume its the school that object to body piercings. Schools object to everything that doesnt make you a results achieiving clone. Its what they do. But hey, you've got to shrug and put up with it, its not exactly a hard life.
