He has a lot of potential but it will take him a lot of time to get used to the pressure and make the right decision. I also believe that he will not accomplish much on the Giants because of how much they gave up to get him. He will be a big star someday, just like his big brother!

As a Giants fan, it has been tough watching Eli develop. He has a great game and then the next game he looks like he's a retard. It's always up and down, up and down. I partly blame Coughlin, it has been said that his offense is very complex and takes time to get use to. That's got to be a lot for a new qb in the NFL. I honestly think that he will be great within the next 2 years. My prediction is that 2006 will be his break out season and 2007 is when he will become a top tier QB in the NFL. The O-Line is getting better and better each year. It's only a matter of time until he leads the GMEN to the Superbowl.

Right now eli seems to be a more then servicable quarterback but isnt in the top tier in the NFL yet. He started his career with a chip on his shoulder because of not agreeing to play in San Diego. Also, he is always going to be compared to his brother and those are some very big shoes to fill. Not to mention having to handle the New York media. He finally got a decent receiver last year in Plaxico Burress. He also has a great tight end in Jeremy Shockey and a good back who is one of the best receiving backs in the NFL in Tiki Barber. The giants offensive line has had some health and consistency problems which has been making Eli have to rush his throws a lot. He did show great improvement from his rookie year to last year and his qb rating went up over 20 points. We should expect him to have a good year this season.

Well, he's a tough player to give an opinion about.... When he's playing well and having a good game, he looks like the next Joe Montana! But, when he's playing poorly, he looks like Ryan Leaf.(Leaf is considered the biggest bust in Sports history, read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESPN25_Biggest_Flops and http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/espn25/story?page=listranker/25biggestflops) But, I'm going off topic. As of right now, Ben Roethlisberger for the Steelers is producing much better than Eli, as Ben led the steelers to a 15-1 regular season record and a 15 game winning streak in his 1st season, and a Super Bowl victory in his 2nd season. And he was picked 11th, 10 spots after manning went 1st! But, if Eli does well in the coming seasons, he may be a hall of famer yet.

He will never escape big brother's and daddy's shadows until the Giants surround him with a good offensive line and develop a defense that will be able to build around someone other than Hall of Fame candidate Micheal Strahan. Eli will suck as long as the organization sucks.

For now very over rated but thats not his fault. Look where he comes from u hear the name manning and u think gr8 qb his dad Archie was gr8 and brother Peyton will go down as one of the best even though the colts choke every year. Eli will get better and even be a very good qb but i do not think he will ever compare 2 his brother or father

I think Eli can be just as good as his big bro. He seems to be more physically talented whereas big bro is the cerebral assassin. If Eli can pick up some pregame prep techniques and a few things he will be a really good QB. Of course your supporting cast is a big factor too!!!

He's becoming a good quarterback. I don't think he has the arm strength that Peyton has, but I think he's much smarter and makes better decisions. If given some decent receiving options, he should be a great QB by the time his career is over.

He has potential good arm, he forces his passes at times but thats just his age, joe montana was the same and couple other qb's aswell. Plus it helps to have a stud bro and dad so he has it in his blood he will make pro bowl in next three seasons if he stays healthy

Eli has a lot of potential and when he cuts down on his mistakes and learns defenses a little better, watch out!
