There are currently 3 models to choose from at the moment (sizes may vary per price). You have the iPod Shuffle ($70 to $115), the iPod Nano ($150 to $250) and the iPod (usually called the iPod Video) ($300 to $400).

The iPod (Video, 60GB) will hold the most songs/video/photos, compared to the other two models.

There are 3 basic models

The Shuffle which has up to 1GB of storage and can hold approx 240 songs. MSRP is $69 ~ $99

The Nano (1GB, 2GB & 4GB capacites) and up to 1,000 songs. MSRP is $149 ~ $249

And then there's simply the iPod. This is available in 30 & 60GB models which will hold up to 15,000 songs. MSRP is $299 ~ $399.

Most durable? Frankly, probably the shuffle since it has the leat amount of parts and features, but right after that, I'd say the Nano. I've had 2 Ipods with drives crap out on me...
