I'm a father of teens myself (12 and 13 years old) and ask myself "Why did I react like that?" 80% of the time I'm angry about something they did.
I can't explain it. I get angry = I yell. I know, it's stupid...

Maybe because you don't listen or it could be because they don't know how to communicate with you. Maybe if you approach you parents or parent and tell them how you would like to be addressed or approached it would be less of an issue.
