Tatooine, and actually Luke spent all of his childhood there, and Anakin spent about 8 years there.

It was the desert planet, "Tatooine" -- located in the "Outer Rim" [of the galaxy.] (Scenes filmed, ON LOCATION, in Tunisia!)
