I hate to tell you this but hunting is a way of life for many people around the world--not just in America. There are strict laws surrounding the sport and I can assure you there isn't a season for children. Hunters don't "kill for fun" they kill for sport and food and the animals do not suffer--most are killed instantly. Do you think fishing is cruel?? To be technical, it is more cruel than hunting (a sharp hook is swallowed and the fish finally runs oout of oxygen and strangles to death). Do you realize what the animal population would be like if there weren't hunting seasons? I love animals and have several pets but I also have hunted a little bit and even ate my game. If you don't agree with 'killing for fun' then don't hunt but if you REALLY don't agree with it then don't eat meat, seafood, fish, or anything else that was once alive because it had to die in some form or another and truth be known, it probably suffered more than wild game.

What about the lions tigers & bears that kills the deers & other animals? We never hear animal right people decrying animals killing & eating animals.
