Andover is about 30-45 min. drive north of Boston.
From Andover to Cape Cod, I'd say it's about 2 hours drive or so, depending where you're going on the Cape.

Well that depends on what town on Cape Cod you want to go to. Andover is around 20-30 minutes from the outskirts of Boston, if the traffic is good.

The biggest problem with Cape Cod is that those of us who live near enough to visit make it way too crowded for those of you that live there year-round. I love Cape Cod - but more so when the crowds are lower in off-seasons. Cape Cod on a rainy vacation week, however, is one of the worst places to be.

2 hours depending on traffic and where you want to go on the cape. Add multiple hours for the island ferries.
