What type of blood test are you talking about? If it's just a test to determine blood type, it can not prove parentage, it can only disprove it. For example, if you are type O and the "father" is AB, it proves he is not the father. If the "father" is A, it is possible that he is the father, but does not prove it. A DNA test would be the only way to actually prove parentage.

Its called ADN test, its the one, maybe the only way to prove a blood relation between 2 or more persons.I think its the safest way to found out the truth about your origin(coz thats what i've understood from your question)

yes awhile back if you wanted to marry someone you had to get a blood test done to prove that you weren't related.

A DNA blood test is best, cheek swabs will work also but I believe a blood test is definitive 100% [99.999%]
