Absolutely. NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) are very dangerous. Ibuprofen, in fact, can increase your risk of heart attack (http://news.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=635702005), or more commonly, cause internal bleeding. The best thing you can do is to figure out what's causing the pain, and then eliminate the cause.

This one time, is should not hurt you. Go and get some water and start drinking to help flush it out of your body. Ibuprofen normally comes in 200mg pills. Since I dont know exactly the dosage, your best bet would be to get some food in your stomach and drink plenty of fluids ( as in 5-6 cups over the next two hours. If you have a headache that badly, taking more will not alleviate the symptoms more effectively than the recommended dosage. Drugs have a certain level of therapeutic effect------more is not better!! Be careful and safe in the future.

You didn't give the mg. amount. If they're 200 to 400 mg. you should be okay. If they're 600 to 800 mg. ea., it could cause irritated stomach. Long term use is not good. Stomach ulcers.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist. Also, take with food or milk.
