You have a few choices.

You can use a razor blade depending on the surface of the wall. I wouldn't do it to wallpaper, and that's probably what it is so just try it on the door.

There are also several chemicals available. There is one that is actually marketed to remove stickers. Goo Gone is more readily available, though, and it works pretty well.

You could get the ones on the wall started and then try pushing them with your fingers. It takes a while and it hurts sometimes, but that's what I usually do.

a little water... get a damp cloth and just hold it on to the surface of the sticker.... dont scrap or pull it off of the wooden door until it is moist and can be easily removed. If you do then you will sratch the wood and ruin it. As for the wall you can do the same thing!

I think it can be a great teaching tool. I'm not doing a border but I am going to do abc & 123 poster or stick ons of some kind "my son is 2 as well"...I figure I can point to the letters & show him what a is what b is etc... We've already been introducing letters, numbers, shapes. We do it in everyday life and playing with toys. We sit and do a shape sorter and I'll say where does the circle go? He will put it in the circle whole & yaay! I say 1 he is saying 2 & 3...Same with Abc...' He also has an easel "Dry Erase Board on one side & Chalk on the other"...When he is wanting to draw I will sit with him & Write A...B...C to show him what they look like...same with 1 2 3 & then shapes. He can draw a circle line & an almost square. So Yes, I think Including a little education decor in your daughters room will benefit her, I think they can be a great learning tool. We have a learning center around here that sells All sorts of stuff like abc, 123, shape posters & stick ons so this is what we are going to do. Pick a wall in his Spogebob themed room & that will be his sort of "learning wall" I guess lol Good Luck! :)

Lighter fluid and mineral spirits both work great to break down the glue on stickers. Goo-Be-Gone is essentially mineral spirits mixed with citrus oil. It smells a little better, but it works just the same. WD40, gasoline, and similar products work, but can stain light colored wood. It the door or wall is painted, test a little bit on a hidden patch to make sure that it doesn't peel your paint off, too!

Dampen a sponge with water. Hold the sponge against the sticker until it is moist. Gentlely scrape the sticker off. I used that method for removing wall paper.

Tape a warm wet paper towel over the sticker for about 10 minutes. Most adhesives will peel off and not leave other residue.

1st: I would bring a bucket full or hot water and a wash cloth to the sticker.

2nd: I would put as much pressure as possible on the sticker.

3rd: Start rubing it off with the wash cloth

P.S. : Soap only lets the sticker stick longer!!

There's this stuff called goo-be gone or close to that, but it will remove sticky residue from most anything! I've seen it at Walmart, Target, etc....

Or you can try nail polish remover just becareful it doesn't take the varish of your door.

You can try heating them with a hair blow dryer so that the adhesive becomes more liquid again, and then the GOO stuff that people talked about already will get the residue off.

Soak a washcloth or rag in really hot water, (soap helps, sometimes) and press it on the part that is still stuck. If you let it soak up the hot water long enough, it should peel right off. Always works for me!
