tiffany d ,i have got enough room for them all regardless of them being male or female, and it wasnt my intention on breeding the female i thought i had bought 2 males and by the time i realised they were of both sexes she was pregnant!!
i just thought it would be nice for all the females to stay together if it was possible, and im not stupid enough to think they would all be of the same sex!

Baby rabbits should be kept with their mother for at least eight weeks. Here's some great info on all the details -

Yes, if the babies turn out to be females, you can keep them together with their mother. Mothers and daughters, and sisters and sisters, get on the very best. Just make sure they have enough space so they don't argue!

But if they're males, they need to be separated at 12 to 16 weeks. As soon as a male's testes drop ... as soon as you can see his two little round testes when you hold him and look between his back legs ... he will definitely be capable of getting any girl bunn pregnant. This usually happens around 12 to 16 weeks of age.

And you should especially avoid allowing any female bunns to become pregnant until at least eight months of age ... because, until at least eight months, she's still growing, and if she gets pregnant, it will weaken her own growth and set her up for ill health.

If one of them is a male and you want to keep them together, you should get your male bunny neutered. You could begin contacting rabbit-savvy vets now, ask them lots of questions to see whether they know about bunns, so that you can decide which vet you'll take him to for the operation. Then they can stay together indefinitely.

It's not a good idea to keep the babies in together with the mother permanently, whether they are male or female. The rabbits may get along for a good while and seem fine then all of a sudden out of the blue you see fur all over the place, meaning they've been fighting. Also if you leave rabbits together too long they will start eating each others fur. Basically, it will look like someone took clippers to certain portions of your rabbits fur. If you're going to ask someone, ask a professional breeder like myself who doesn't just raise a few as pets. I've been raising them for 24 years, have raised thousands of rabbits and show them on a national level.

If you dont have the room for them then dont breed!!

No they cannot all stay together...they will drive their mother nuts!

Out of the hundreds of litters of rabbits I have had I have NEVER had a whole litter of just females so dont plan on keeping them all together

Females are territorial and that doesn't sound like much space for 5 rabbits. And telling the sex of rabbits can be tricky if you don't know what you're doing.

Yes. Females do well together. Males will fight. But it will be crowded badly when they are grown. Do not feed the babies anything but momma's milk or rabbit feed until they are six months old. Then they can have grass, clover, fruits and veggies.

as long as the two the mum and the domestic dog are spayed/neutered they are going to be high quality - spay her while the puppies are weaned and whichever domestic dog you maintain - have him/her neutered/spayed by using 6-9 months previous. WHY grew to become into your mixed breed in no way spayed 4 yrs in the past? there is not any excuse for having a muddle at 5 yrs previous or the different litters contained in the previous.

First you should get them fixed when they are about 4 months old. You should also get the mom fixed quickly. But yes you should be able to keep them all together when they are older since they have been together since they are babies.
