I am dark as the moonless midnight sky..... but want to be so dark Im purple, and glisten in the sun.

Old question, older story.
Negroids can and indeed do tan and burn… but not as easily or as noticeably as Caucasians. Moreover, the darker the skin pigment, the more sunlight that is absorbed so it is actually far more dangerous for humans with darker skin to remain in direct sunlight than their light skinned cousins.
Addendum: I meant NO offense by using the term "*******'. It is just a term for the ***** race like Caucasian is for the white race and so forth.
I am no racist. I was just trying to offer a good answer to a question.

Black people do tan--it just takes longer to see it. Buy you a good tanning oil/lotion and make sure you do not overdo it---because black people can also get skin cancer from the sun.
Just tan like all these white folks: put on the sunoil/lotion and reapeat that while you are tanning or you'll get a sunburn and don't listen to those who say that you cannot tan--because you will tan and you will be able to see that after a couple of days.
In wintertime you can do the same as white folks too: put on the sunoil and go to a tanning studio---you'll tan and in all likelihood will you experience less depression(because of the sun--and in winter because of the exposure to the "artifical" sun in the tanning studio).

You probably have enough pigmentation already. The darker you are, the less you tan. When skin tans, it is developing a protection against ultraviolet rays. That is what a tan is: a skin protectant. If you are dark, you already have a protectant.
And if you are so dark, why is you picture light? Are you having an identity problem?

They can tan if they really try. If you want to get a good tan, I would try Maui Babe Tanning Lotion. It is like a cofee substance that you put on, then go lay out in the sun with. It is really oily though. It gives a better tan than the tanning bed and spray tan too!

whats making u black is the melanin cells in ur body..and they dont get blacker than a moonless shy..probably the only way is u sit under the scotchin sun for hours, that the cell can can take no more..but then there is no way back to fairness for u

Come to Middle East eg, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, Oman, Abu dhabi, Bahrain or Kuwait, then you'll really see how blacks easily get tanned. The difference is clear.

Black people do get tans, its just not as noticeable, because they already have such dark skin. Also, because there is so much melanin in your skin, it takes a lot longer to get a tan.

Why would you want to be any darker than you are. You will probably have to stay out in the sun for a very long time.

Because there skin is already dark. If you stay out in the sun to long you could burn.
