Not aware of any local channels (at least in my area) that broadcast over the Internet. But a TV tuner card for your PC will allow you to watch TV on your PC.

not many indian channels are broadcasting as of now on the internet....
check out at www.beelinetv.com ... this site gives you all the list of all the online television channels of the world.... have a nice time...
and http://wwitv.com/portal.htm gives you some of the indian channels also...
