but we were there and my freind was acting nevice but my ex friend was hiding in the back room like a child. how would you react to that situation?

I would personally address this ex friend of yours and let her know that you are fine with the situation, and her cowering in the other room could make others uncomfortable, not to mention...it does make her look a little childish. Hopefully that should resolve that particular problem, and if this is the way she acts, then I can see why she is your ex friend.

Be rational and open hearted to your friend. and To your ex-boy friend, he has to decide how to react not you. You be casual to him as well as you do with any other friend or known fellows.
